Jewish Studies

Judaic Studies is concerned with the history, religion, ethics, and culture of Judaism. It analyzes various events in the history of Jews in Europe, North America, and the Middle East/Israel. However, the literature of Jewish authors is also explored and the political and legal aspects of hostility towards Jews are addressed. Depending on the place of training, the focus of the study tends to be cultural studies, theology, religious dialogue, or philology.
