General linguistics

Linguistics is primarily concerned with the grammatical structure of various languages from around the world. Less attention is paid to a single language, but rather to the higher-level structures of the various languages. Due to globalization, the diversity of language forms is decreasing more and more. For this reason, general linguistics documents languages in danger of extinction for future generations.
