Pharmaceutical sciences

Pharmacy is the science of medicines, which includes the research, manufacture and application of drugs. Every drug requires in-depth knowledge of the chemical, physical and biological properties of the active ingredients and their interactions on the human body. To this end, complex (patho-) physiological processes in humans are studied, new active ingredients are developed and new forms of therapy are devised. Optimal quality and safety in the handling of medicinal products are always in the foreground.
