Nature and environment

Physics, chemistry and biology belong to the traditional natural sciences. In the meantime, the natural sciences have become interlinked with other subjects, with environmental sciences being considered part of the systems-oriented natural sciences. The focus here is on aspects of the animate and inanimate environment. Courses such as biology, physics or geography can only be studied at universities and the ETH. In addition, chemistry or environmental engineering can also be learned at a university of applied sciences.
