Caused by climate change and the scarcity of diverse energy resources, we are facing a great challenge, which is why well-trained specialists are needed. This field of study provides technical knowledge to develop new and improved energy sources. Environmental engineers develop equipment and processes that are used for the most efficient use of energy and resources. During the program, diverse energy systems such as wind power, solar power, bioenergy, and hydropower are taught. This knowledge is used to analyze low CO2 technologies and to plan such systems. Furthermore, basics of various economic processes and sustainable development are taught.
