Eduwo Education-Ranking

With the eduwo education ranking, the largest Swiss platform for reports on experiences in the education sector presents every year the  best universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education and colleges of higher education in Switzerland.  Also the  Best degree programmes and continuing education courses in Switzerland in the ranking.  award. Both public universities and public schools are considered.

This is how the ranking comes about

Thousands of students rated their study or teaching programme on the basis of the criteria lecturers/teachers, school facilities, school organisation, framework/environment and teaching content. One to five stars could be awarded for each criterion. In addition, it was taken into account whether the students would recommend their study or course to others. Every field report is checked by eduwo. Discriminatory, insulting, defamatory, racist or vulgar statements are deleted immediately.

Criteria and calculation

One to five star(s) can be awarded for the following criteria:

Calculation formula of the ranking: ((average score x 8 + W-rate / 10) / 10) x (number of evaluations / (number of evaluations + 1)). The free text fields (message, pro and con) had no influence on the ranking.

Only schools with at least 15 testimonials and study/course programmes with 5 testimonials are included in the ranking.
