Der Abschluss wird laufend durch Credit-Prüfungen in den einzelnen Fächern&nbsp;erarbeitet. Wer eine genügende Anzahl Credits erzielt und die Vorgaben des Verbandes zum Bestehen der Prüfung erfüllt hat, erhält nach&nbsp;1½ Jahren das Handelsdiplom VSH, kaufmännische Zusatzausbildung sowie den Titel "diplomierter Kaufmann VSH" resp. "diplomierte Kauffrau VSH". Das Diplom sowie der Titel sind geschützt und schweizweit anerkannt.
