<p>Der Studiengang SEK I befähigt zum Unterricht von Schülerinnen und Schülern der 1. bis 3. Klasse der Sekundarstufe I und wird mit dem Master of Arts PH Luzern in Secondary Education abgeschlossen. Das Lehrdiplom für die Sekundarstufe I wird von der Schweizerischen Konferenz der kantonalen Erziehungsdirektoren (EDK) anerkannt und ist in der ganzen Schweiz gültig.</p><p>Die Regelstudiendauer für das Vollzeitstudium beträgt 4½ Jahre. Das Studium ist in ein Grundjahr, 2 Jahre Bachelorstudium (Zwischenabschluss) und 1½ Jahre Masterstudium gegliedert und zielt auf den Aufbau der für den Beruf der SEK-I-Lehrperson erforderlichen Professionskompetenzen.</p>
