The program is designed for change makers who want to create solutions that will make an impact in the 21st-century, here of some of the skills and knowledge you will have upon completion of the certificate.

• Explore the ethical and social implications of AI, including bias, privacy, and transparency.

• Learn about cutting-edge AI applications in healthcare, education, environmental sustainability, and social justice.

Each Certificate Program comprises three interrelated challenges, equipping you with unique competencies to conquer current and future hurdles.

Challenge 1

Applied Data Science

Apply data science to a real-world scenario from the automotive industry. You will perform descriptive data analysis, linking research findings to business outcomes. This course sets the foundation for the subsequent machine learning challenges.

Challenge 2

Machine Learning & Deep Learning

Delve into the realm of machine learning and deep learning. These models try to “learn” patterns of data by analyzing the given dataset in order to do that they are looking for relationships. You will foster skills in advanced data analysis and creating algorithms for deep learning.

Challenge 3

Technology Entrepreneurship

Learn the essentials of tech entrepreneurship, from product-market fit to tech strategy. Conduct research on successful tech entrepreneurs, generate opportunities, and evaluate solutions using innovative tools and techniques.

Professor of Artificial Intelligence & Sustainable Technologies

Dr. Ana-Maria Olteteanu

Dr. Ana-Maria Olteteanu is an AI scientist and Professor of Artificial Intelligence & Sustainable Technologies at Tomorrow University. She works at the intersection of cognitive science (how natural minds work) and artificial intelligence (how we can build a mind). Her favorite research topics are creative problem-solving, creativity measurement, and high-level cognition.

Moritz von Zahn

Moritz von Zahn is an AI researcher at Goethe University Frankfurt. In his research, he tackles real-world problems in causality, explainability, and fairness in machine learning. Moritz has co-authored research articles at multiple top-class research institutions (e.g., at ETH Zurich and the University of Tel Aviv) and frequently contributed to projects in the industry (e.g., with Swisscom AG, Robert Bosch GmbH, and McKinsey & Company).
