The program is designed for change makers who want to create solutions that will make an impact in the 21st-century, here of some of the skills and knowledge you will have upon completion of the certificate.
Review of mathematical concepts used in data analysis.
Get an verview of statistical concepts and analysis techniques.
Data visualization and interpretation.
Learn about algorithm design and implementation techniques, optimization algorithms, and their applications.
Each Certificate Program comprises three interrelated challenges, equipping you with unique competencies to conquer current and future hurdles.
Challenge 1
Statistics & Data Analysis
Most of our modern advances are based on scientific methods. You will master the scientific method and statistical tests that facilitate data-driven decision-making. Dive into the process of designing experiments, exploring data, and drawing inferences. You will perform statistical analysis on a dataset focusing on gender inequality.
Challenge 2
Math Foundations for AI
Understand the mathematics behind artificial intelligence, including linear algebra and multivariate calculus. You will solve optimization problems and address two supervised learning problems in Python. You don't require prior coding experience, as coding templates are provided. You will compare different models and classifiers using various evaluation metrics and create a detailed report on the models and insights gained.
Challenge 3
Data Structure & Algorithms Foundations
Get an introduction to programming as an art to solve real-world problems. Dive into important programming concepts such as data structures and algorithms. You will perform experiments to understand the features of a sorting algorithm and gain practical insights into efficient problem-solving techniques.
Meet the speakers and mentors who will guide you.
Challenge Owner & Math Expert
